The German B1 course is designed for learners who have completed the A2 level and are ready to become independent users of the language. At this level, students develop the ability to communicate confidently in everyday situations, express opinions, and understand the main points of clear standard German on familiar topics.

Aligned with the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR), the B1 level represents the threshold where learners can interact with native speakers with a reasonable degree of fluency and spontaneity.

Course Objectives

By the end of this course, students will be able to:

  • Understand the main points of conversations, radio programs, and texts related to work, school, travel, and leisure

  • Participate in discussions about familiar topics and express opinions with supporting reasons

  • Write clear, connected texts such as emails, short essays, and reports
